Snack Donation Drive
Ann's Heart has partnered with our friends at the Phoenixville Area School District (PASD) and Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS) to provide nutritious meals to students and their families throughout the summer break.
We offer free breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the full school summer break to families who qualify for free or reduced lunch at school. But unlike most programs, we don't just feed the students. Our Summer Meal Program provides five days of grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items, plus 2-3 family-style dinners each week, so that everyone in the household has access to healthy, fresh meals all summer long.
The need is growing. In 2024 we distributed 22,000 summer meals; in 2025 that jumped to 30,000. As more families rely on our program, rising food costs and disruptions to SNAP benefits make every donated item count. Your contribution helps us keep those bags full and our focus where it belongs: making sure no kid in our community goes hungry over the summer.
Why so many snacks?
Last summer, our Summer Meal Program served over 200 children across 13 weeks, and every child received a bundle of individually portioned snacks as part of their twice-weekly take-home bags. That added up to more than 33,000 snacks in one summer alone!
We stock a wide variety for a reason: kids are picky. Packaged snacks are always accompanied by fresh, healthy options from our HEART Kitchen and HEART Garden, and every bag is balanced, kid-approved, and ready to go. Single-serve portions also make bundling fast, sanitary, and fair so every child gets exactly what they need.
If you're looking at this list thinking "that's a lot of goldfish crackers" ... you're right, and we'll use every single one!
How to Donate
In-Person Donation Drop-Offs

Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The HEART Kitchen will be open for in-person donation drop-offs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM June 15th - July 31st. If no one is available to receive your donation, please leave it in the Donation Drop-Box located directly outside the HEART Kitchen. When dropping off donations in the box, please use code 0226 to unlock the box and then re-secure the lock after placing your items.
After-Hours Drop-Offs

Snack items may be placed in the Donation Drop-Box located directly outside the HEART Kitchen at any time from May 5th - July 31st. When dropping off donations in the box, please use code 0226 to unlock the box and then re-secure the lock after placing your items.
Please do NOT leave perishable items in the drop-box.
