Partnering to Serve
Ann's Heart has partnered with the Phoenixville Area School District (PASD) and our incredible friends at Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS) to help serve students (and their families) with nutritious meals over the long summer break.

We provide free breakfast, lunch, and dinners for the full school summer break to those families who qualify for free or subsidized lunches at school. But unlike most programs, we do not just provide meals for the students. Our Summer Meal Program (SMP) provides five days of grab-n-go breakfast and lunch items, as well as 2-3 family style dinners to each family so that everyone in the household has access to healthy, fresh meals throughout the summer.

Last year we provided more than 22,000 meals over the course of 10 weeks. This summer (2025) we will serve summer meals over the course of 12 weeks (extended break).

As food prices continue to soar - rising more than 30% since last summer - many families in our community are struggling to put meals on the table. At Ann’s Heart, we believe no child or family should go hungry, especially during the summer months when school meal programs pause. This year, our Summer Meal Program is expected to serve over 275 students and their families, offering nutritious, culturally diverse meals that not only feed but also foster dignity and community.
