WHAT TO EXPECT

Is this your first time volunteering with Code Blue? Are you returning and curious about if things will be different than last year? We have put together a quick Volunteer Orientation Presentation and Volunteer Handbook for you to review before your first time volunteering this season. Please take a moment to review both prior to your first shift.

HOW ARE WE DOING?

We want to make sure that the Code Blue Center is providing a safe and welcoming environment for not only our guests, but our volunteers and staff as well. After your first volunteer shift you will receive a short survey to tell us how it went and what we can do to improve your experience. If at any time you have concerns about your experience or saw something that you think we should know about, please report it to us.

WANT A VOLUNTEER "BUDDY"?

It’s back! First time volunteers can opt to have someone to volunteer with them the first time (or two) at the Center. Someone to show you around, answer your questions, or show you how to get there. A few of our veteran volunteers have offered to be volunteer "buddies"! If you would like someone to join you on your first volunteer shift, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. One of our volunteer buddies will email you back and schedule a time to join you at the Center.
